Local girl bound for China

The Pixie Chicks have been together for about 6 years and approached Alix to join in 2008 as the replacement drummer for the band. They have a number of original songs and also do covers ranging from AC/DC to Miley Cyrus.

The band has performed all around WA, Queensland, New South Wales and Victoria and are now off to China. They start their trip in Bejing, where they will be visiting the Olympic Village and the Great Wall of China, then they fly to Shanghai to perform at a number of shows which are already sold out.
