Anstey Park
With the redevelopment of Railway Tce about to commence, it seems a good time to give Anstey Park a bit of a facelift and reintroduce the water feature.
The stone and water feature were originally dedicated to people who served our country in World War 1; then in 1979, as part of WA's 150 year celebrations, they were rededicated to our farming pioneers. Recently a couple of Goomalling residents mentioned that they'd like to see a memorial garden. If anyone is interested in being a part of developing some ideas for the site, please contact Andrea Hardingham, Community Development Officer, Shire of Goomalling at cdo@goomalling.wa.gov.au or on 9629 1101. A get-together can be organised to discuss possibilities.
