Goomalling to appear on online TV

18-09-2009
LocoTV will visit Goomalling on Friday 25 September 2009 to film a seven minute TV segment about the shire.

Three towns in the Avon Valley have contracted LocoTV to promote the valley and entice visitors to try the array of experiences we have to offer.

The shoot will begin at Black Wattle Retreat and take in the sites of Toodyay and the varied agricultural enterprises that coexist and support this historic townsite.

Windward Ballooning will feature as one of the many sky high adventures available in the valley and give a birdseye view of Northam and the surrounding countryside.

The crew will then head to Goomalling by hot rod and be pampered at Goonine Springs Day Spa. Next they'll pop into Go Cafe for a coffee, tee off 'the Pimple' at the Goomalling Golf Club and try their hand at disc bowls. Historic Slater Homestead will be the next destination, then the journey will conclude with a glass of wine amongst the wildflowers of Oak Park.

This small sample of what the valley has to offer will be viewable at www.locoTV.com.au for three years.
