Premier's Active Citizenship Awards
A part of the Australia Day family of awards, the Premier's Australia Day Active Citizenship Awards focus on community contribution and participation rather than personal achievement. They are run around the state as a joint initiative of the Australia Day Council of Western Australia, the Western Australian Local Government Association (WALGA) and the Office of Premier and Cabinet.
Nominate an inspiring community member or group from the district of Goomalling for an award to be presented at our annual Australia Day Breakfast to be held on Tuesday 26 January 2010. The three awards highlight active citizenship, outstanding contribution to the local community and Australian pride and spirit. Choose the one that suits your nominee:
- Outstanding community contribution by a local citizen
- Outstanding community contribution by a local citizen under 25 years of age
- Outstanding community contribution by a local group or community event
Nomination forms are available at the Shire of Goomalling Administration Office or you can download one at http://ausdaywa.com.au/documents/Aust_Day_Nomination_for_website.pdf
Submit your nomination by Friday 27th November 2009 to:
