Goomalling has two great primary schools:

High school (age 12-17)

School buses run from Goomalling to Northam Senior High School and St Joseph's School, Northam. Dowerin District High School, 20 minutes from Goomalling, has classes up to year 10.

Tertiary students

  • Studying externally at university or TAFE? Exam supervision can be arranged for you at the Goomalling Community Resource Centre.

  • In Northam, just 30 minutes drive from Goomalling, the Central Regional TAFE Northam offers a wide range of qualifications including automotive, building and general civil construction, information technology and business.
  • Also in Northam is Muresk Institute which offers courses in agribusiness, biosciences and environmental biology.

  • The Cunderdin College of Agriculture is about 50 minutes drive from Goomalling and offers high school, as well as tertiary qualifications in agriculture, manufacturing, automotive and construction.

Traineeships and apprenticeships
