The Goomalling War Memorial Swimming Pool was opened to the public on 27 January 1958.
The pool opens early in November each year and closes in late March.
The Goomalling Swimming Club is open to all children who'd like to enhance their swimming experience in a friendly and supportive environment. Coaching is offered as a major part of the swimming club program with time trials held on a regular basis throughout the season.
Children who want to join the club must have passed Stage 3 (or equivalent) of the Education Department's VacSwim program or be able to confidently swim more than two full laps of the pool.
The season begins in November and will be held once a week at the Goomalling War Memorial Swimming Pool after school.
