The Shire of Goomalling would like to announce that Cr Barry Haywood, Cr Roland Van Gelderen, Cr Casey Butt and Cr Brendan Wilkes were elected unopposed at the 2023 Local Government Elections.
The newly elected members were sworn in at the Ordinary Council Meeting held on 15 November 2023.
As is required under Local Government Act 1995 the position of Shire President and Deputy Shire President were declared open for nominations.
Cr Julie Chester was successful in being elected to the position of Shire President and accepted.
Cr Roland Van Gelderen was successful in being elected the position of Deputy Shire President and accepted.
Shire of Goomalling and Councillors would like to acknowledge Past President Cr Barry Haywood for his service in the position since 2015 and significant contribution to our community.
