Roland "Rolly" and his wife Christine have lived in Goomalling for the past 32 years and intend to stay here even after retirement. He owns and operates the truck, trailer and machinery repair workshop known as Mortlock Fabrication and Repairs in Goomalling's light industrial area.
He has been President of the Goomalling Lions Club for many years until they recently disbanded, is currently Deputy President of the Goomalling Shire Council and has been on Council for over 16 years.
He feels he has the experience as Councillor to help to steer the Shire to a better financial and social position and looks forward to a brighter and better future for the Town and Shire.
