The renovations to the Goomalling Emergency Department are now complete.

The new emergency department at the Goomalling Health Service is now open.

The emergency department is located to the left of the main entrance and is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Wheatbelt Regional Director Sean Conlan said the new emergency department was clearly signposted.

“Visitors and people attending outpatient appointments should continue to use the main entrance,” he said.

“The temporary emergency department has now reverted back to a consultation room.”

The refurbishment of the Goomalling Health Service is part of WACHS’s $300 million capital works program to improve capital infrastructure in 37 towns across the Wheatbelt, Great Southern, Midwest and South West regions.
