ATO Masterclass:
Supporting small businesses
The ATO has an online learning platform designed by small businesses for small businesses: Essentials to strengthen your small business. This platform provides free courses to support small businesses improve their tax, super and business management knowledge.
We reached out to you a couple of weeks ago to ask you to help promote a series of Masterclasses that are scheduled over the coming months that help businesses understand the below topics:
- Record keeping - May
- Claiming small business tax deductions - June
- Cash flow for small business success - July
- Goods and Services Tax (GST) - August
- Hiring & paying workers – September
Since the launch in 2024 we have had over 1,000,000 views and 250,000 active users. 98% of attendees that attended a masterclass would recommend a webinar to another small business owner and 73% of attendees are planning to make changes to the way they manage their tax affairs after attending a masterclass.
